Perlini shaker leaking from mid-body seal
-
Some users report not being able to get a proper seal when they screw the two halves of the shaker together. What can be done about this?

The best way to solve this is to periodically dress the seal with a light coating of food-grade silicone oil, or food-grade mineral oil, or even vegetable oil. This smooths out surface roughness on the gasket and sealing surface and will usually fix this problem.
