Handheld pressurizer sputters and gas flow is low
-
Some users report that the handheld filler for Perlage and Perlini will sometimes sputter when used, and it seems like the flow is blocked. This results in incomplete pressurization.

This is almost certainly due to the filler being held in an orientation such that the tail end of the filler is higher than the tip, causing liquid CO2 to flow into the regulator, temporarily freezing it and blocking the flow of gas. The Perlage enclosure or Perlini shaker should be held at a 45 degree angle when filling, which will automatically ensure that the pressurizer is in the right orientation.
