Applied Fizzics, Inc. Announces Kickstarter Add-On for SodaStream

Applied Fizzics, Inc., has announced that it will be adding another product variant to its Kickstarter Campaign. The new product, the FIZZiO SodaStreamer, is designed to extend the functionality of existing SodaStream systems, and all systems and bottles that are compatible with SodaStream. 

The SodaStream add-on will include caps that fit the larger mouths of SodaStream and compatible bottles, and an adaptor that will allow SodaStream customers to use their existing 410 gram CO2 cartridges with the FIZZiO Filler. With this add-on, users can reseal and repressurize partial bottles of carbonated water and sodas made with their SodaStreams, in the same manner as the standard FIZZiO cap allows users to preserve store-bought bottles of soda.

"We initially thought we were going to be a direct competitor to SodaStream," said Evan Wallace, president of Applied Fizzics, Inc. "But over time, it occurred to us that we are really the perfect adjunct to existing SodaStream systems. FIZZiO and SodaStream are not competitors--they're a perfect match."

The benefits of the FIZZiO SodaStream add-on include:

• With the FIZZiO SodaStreamer, users can preserve partial bottles of carbonated waters and sodas made with their SodaStream in the same bottle they made them in. This is currently not possible with SodaStream.
  
  
• FIZZiO SodaStreamer makes SodaStream portable. Users can toss their SodaStream soda bottles in a bag with the FIZZiO Filler and take their SodaStream sodas on the road.
  
  
• FIZZiO SodaStreamer turns any SodaStream bottle into full-fledged home carbonator for any beverage, including juices, cocktails, cold brew, tea, and, of course, water. The wide mouth of the SodaStream bottle allows for easy introduction of ice, which is important for optimal carbonation (carbonation depends on temperature--the colder the better). The wide mouth also allows for easy cleaning.
  
  
• FIZZiO SodaStreamer includes an adaptor that allows the FIZZiO Filler to use standard SodaStream CO2 cartridges.
  
  
• FIZZiO SodaStream turns any SodaStream bottle into a beer growler. Users can take their SodaStream bottles to their favorite pub, fill them up, and seal them and repressurize with the FIZZiO Filler. This keeps the beer fresh for days or weeks.
